The Climate, Land, Ambition, and Rights Alliance (CLARA) is comprised of civil society organizations, peoples’ organizations, research groups, plus independent scientists and activists. Joining CLARA requires: an expression of interest; nomination from an exsisting CLARA member; background information on the organization or individual; and stated support for the Principles that CLARA members agreed upon regarding the treatment of land-use in the UNFCCC climate convention. Following a ‘no-objection’ review of the request from existing CLARA members, a new member will be able to participate in CLARA calls and meetings. We look forward to expanding the base of organizations committed to climate solutions that work for people and ecosystems.
